President
Hi! I’m Stephanie, a senior at EVHS and the president of Soundshine. I play both the guitar and piano, but have been focusing more on guitar and singing for our group’s performances. I enjoy making covers and listening to music in my free time, and hope to share my passion for music with the community. I look forward to creating meaningful connections through our performances and am excited to see how Soundshine continues to grow.
MIKAYLA HONG

Webmaster
As the webmaster for Soundshine, I love making use of digital art and experimenting with aesthetics. It gives me a way to express myself, similar to playing musical instruments. I have been playing piano since age 5, and was inspired to pick up violin as my main instrument after hearing my parents perform chamber music together. I enjoy playing violin solos as well as playing duets and trios with other musicians. I hope the power of music will bring people together and help inspire others to do the same.
Maylene Chou
Treasurer
I'm May, a student at EVHS, and I've been playing the piano since I was 5. Ever since I was little, my parents have been teaching me the importance of not overspending or being too stingy. As Soundshine's current Treasurer, I take pride in overseeing finances and budgeting to maintain the organization’s financial stability. In my free time, I also like doing art and listening to music. I hope to make an impact on the community through my love for music and joy for performing for others.
Arthur Huang

Hi, I'm Arthur Huang, a sophomore in VCHS. I picked up the piano at age 5 and I’ve continued to enjoy playing it since. A few years ago, I discovered the joy of playing the clarinet, and I’ve played it with a band for over 3 years now. As a musician, I would love to dedicate my time spent practicing for the community, whether it be performing for senior homes or raising money for great causes. As the secretary, I hope to fulfill my duties to bring this group together and help us influence the community in significant ways.

Daniel Li
I’m currently a VCHS junior and I’ve been playing alto sax in my school band since 5th grade. I also play tenor sax for the VCHS Jazz Ensemble. Practicing and performing challenging pieces is something that I have found to be hugely enjoyable and rewarding. When I’m not practicing the saxophone, I spend my time training in pursuit of glory in the sport of wrestling.
